On & On…

“Letting go doesn’t mean that you don’t care about someone anymore. It’s just realizing that the only person you really have control over is yourself.”
― Deborah Reber

As some of you may be aware we had to bring in Ken to play a gig this Friday at The Frontier Club in Meridian earlier than even he expected. But, we had 2 gigs on the table and didn’t have a choice. Bob will continue to be a very important person in this band and I plan on trying to have him sit in as much as he can. It’s always sad and heartbreaking to have to leave someone behind, but we all must do what we must do. This is putting a lot of pressure on Ken, but he’s a trooper, he said to go for it. So, we are pulling some songs from older set lists to make it easier on everyone. I am hoping that when we get completely up to exactly where we want our song list to be I can get over to work with Bob doing some studio work. I haven’t completely given up!

  1. Not sure of the particulars here, but I do know it’s hard to say good-bye. Change is hard, and it’s always a struggle to embrace such–despite its inevitability.
