Strange Days….

Well it has been a bizarre week, to say the least! Barb’s Barr on Saturday night was the night we played for the wake for John Clover and everyone was in an understandably strange mood. There was a bit of tension, a bit of liquid sedation and a bit of celebration. It was good though. We really enjoyed playing there, really like the staff and will be back again in March. I won;t go into the reasons why but by the time we played The New Frontier we had hired a new bass player, once again! The point is moot. We have hired on Mike Mason, who I have known for a long time. He did a really good job! I had a very bad case of laryngitis this weekend and he really helped me out on the vox. I have been fighting an upper respiratpry infection for over a month now and this weekend it hit me hard. Mike, Steven and I have Willi B’s coming up this Saturday. We are doing our acoustic gig and I really need my voice to be 110% so I am trying to rest as much as possible. I have a few pics to share with you from Barb’s on Saturday and The New Frontier on Friday and Saturday. Enjoy!

  1. Looks like a super fun time, Jaz–especially the “getting down” and “crazy guy” one. You look rock and roll bad in your “Jaz” shot–and finally, as to the final shot..’glad they are not “gently weelping”. You go, rock star!
